We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative/ Forklift Driver for our client in the Duxford area. This is working for a fantastic, leading food manufacturer of high end luxury products.

This is a great opportunity to up skill and expanded your knowledge within food manufacturing, gaining such skills as Forklift Tickets and opportunities to progress to line leaders and supervisors.

Applicants to this role should be looking for permanent opportunities only. Although an in date Forklift ticket is preferred an expired licence would be accepted.

Please note, you must be able to drive and have your own transport for this role. This is due to the remote location.

Duties of the Factory Operative/ Forklift Driver:

• Washing and prepping products
• Production line duties- minimising stoppages and downtime
• Loading and unloading of production line
• Quality control, including grading, package control and food standards are maintained
• Assisting in all areas of production and warehousing when needed
• Final packing of products
• Palletising and wrapping of pallets

The Ideal Factory Operative/ Forklift Driver:

• Counterbalance Forklift licence ( In date or expired)
• Previous experience in food manufacturing and production preferred
• Good time keeping
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Looking for full time work
• Driver with own transport

Pay and hours

• £12.00-£13.00 Per hour, depending on experience
• Monday - Friday 07.30 - 17.00
