A client of ours in the Felixstowe area are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours) and paying £24,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sales ledger responsibilities including chasing debt, monitoring credit limits and processing sales invoices.
  • Purchase ledger responsibilities processing purchase invoices and initiating payments.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with weekly payroll.
  • Prepare weekly reports.
  • Supervision of fuel stock, obtaining quotes and placing orders.
  • Analyse monthly expenses.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Assistant position:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience within a similar role essential
  • Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
  • Accountancy qualifications desirable
