We have partnered with an innovative manufacturer based in Chelmsford to recruit a Quality Engineer into their team. Our client is transforming the manufacturing industry, combining technology and manufacturing to create a forward-thinking company.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing the APQP and PPAP process and documentation
• Manage the QMS
• Monitoring an entire production process
• Performing regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the production stages
• Using A3 and 8D methodology to identify the root cause of technical issues
• Perform containment, corrective, and preventive action plans
• Implementing continuous improvement processes within manufacturing
• Auditing quality systems

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Quality Engineer position:

• Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes
• Understanding of the Q_PULSE Quality Management System
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 would be beneficial
• Background in manufacturing
