A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Road Freight Trainee to join their team. This is a 6-month maternity FTC position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £22,308 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Creating and processing of Groupage shipments on your assigned services
• Ensuring client's needs and expectations are met
• Assisting in customs clearance of exports and imports
• Invoicing for in a timely manner
• Obtaining and preparing of documents for our Customs team to process
• Filing
• Liaising with our overseas agents
• Providing excellent Customer Service, using emails and phones as appropriate

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Road Freight Trainee position:

• 1+ years office, admin and secretarial experience
• Transport/Logistics experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Excellent telephone manner
• Proficient in using the Microsoft packages
