A medium sized multi disciplined architectural practice are looking to recruit a Senior Architect / Urban Designer to work at their offices in Guildford.

The company work primarily on delivering large scale residential and development projects. They are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Architect or Urban Designer to run feasibility, masterplanning and planning application projects. The role will suit someone with a proven track record of managing the entire design process, attending meetings with the consultant team, clients and stakeholders, and managing an internal team for the delivery of these projects.

The role:

• Produce feasibility layouts from 10-1000 homes and landscape-led masterplans, primarily focused on residential delivery.
• Outline planning applications
• Reserved Matters and Detailed applications
• Carrying out site visits and appraisals and writing reports/DAS's etc
• Project tendering
• Mentoring junior staff, checking drawings and information to ensure quality remains as high as possible.

What's required:

• Must be a qualified Architect or Urban Designer with extensive experience in this field
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Commercial awareness.
• Excellent AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and MS office skills
• SketchUp & Revit considered a bonus.

Candidates will only be consider who already reside within a comuttable distance from Guildford. Candidates who require sponsorship are not eligable.
