An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham are looking for a Trainee Paint Shop Assistant to join their expanding team.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in cars / motor sport, have a high attention to detail and are very keen to learn. Its an advantage if you have undertaking a paint spraying course in the automotive sector.

The role is working 8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £11.44ph to£12ph depending on your skills and experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fantastic environment and learn to ultimately, in the longer term, spray automotive car parts.

Trainee Paint Shop Assistant duties:-

• Helping out in the department
• Aqua blasting
• Assist in laser etching
• Wrapping up painted parts
• Preparation of raw carbon parts
• General house keeping such as emptying bins

This is a fantastic role for someone to learn and be around experience paint sprayers and preppers. There is genuine career growth prospects in this role for the right person.

This is a permanent role subject to you passing a 3 month probation.
