Robyn Holmes
Managing Director
Robyn established Prime Appointments in 1992 and with over 35 years of recruitment experience, she is the driving force behind a highly effective, professional and friendly team. She is incredibly proud of the service that her company provides for clients, candidates and the high volume of people the team have supported over the years.
A number of our clients have worked with us for nearly 30 years, which is testament to the consistently excellent service Prime delivers. We credit this to Robyn's hugely positive energy and infectious passion for recruitment.
She has a genuine interest in how other businesses work and loves connecting people with people. Robyn invests hugely in her team and recognises that training and development together with a happy work environment are the reason that we continue to grow.
Her open, honest and positive personality mean that she is a real inspiration to everyone she meets, often instilling self-belief and energy to help others achieve their goals. Away from the office Robyn applies her energy to maintaining an impressive regime at the gym. She has recently taken up golf and in true Robyn style is already a force to be reckoned with on the golf course – practice makes perfect!

Director
Peter has been a Director at Prime Appointments for over 15 years. His main focus is on the development of the company’s digital marketing strategy through SEO. In 2016 he meticulously oversaw the design, implementation and build of our fabulous new head office Austin House, project managing every aspect of the build over 4 months.
Peter is a keen sportsman with a competitive streak, in true Prime fashion! He particularly enjoys golf and Real Tennis. In 2017 he played Real Tennis in Australia for the successful Great Britain Over 50s team against France, Australia and the USA. In 2018, he represented Great Britain again in the same match, this time in New York. He is also the current Over 50s British doubles champion. Valuing teamwork above all else, he is a true Prime champion!

Jack O’Brien
Director
Jack O’Brien first joined the business in 2011 as a trainee recruiter on our fast-paced Industrial desk. There, he worked under Sales Director Colin’s careful supervision. Over the next 4 years of his training, he established excellent relationships with key Industrial clients before transferring to the Technical & Engineering division. As a Technical & Engineering consultant and then Manager, he has grown and developed the team to become what is now our biggest division, supplying temporary workers, contractors and permanent solutions across an extensive range of engineering sectors to international industry leaders, start-ups and SMEs alike across the region and beyond. With his consultative approach with both clients and candidates, he has proven his commitment to and passion for Prime. As such, in 2017, we were delighted to welcome him to join our Senior Management Team. Following the increased growth to the business which his management spearheaded, our board of Directors took the unanimous decision in 2019 to appoint him as a Director as of 1st January 2020.

Layla has joined our Prime family as Finance Director. Her working career in Finance Management and Director roles, sees her experience in the engineering sector. With a brain full of fresh and innovative ideas, Layla brings a different perspective to the Prime team, perfectly making up our senior management team.

Joining Prime in 2015, Carl has successfully worked his way up from Trainee to Senior Consultant and is now running our Bury St Edmunds office, building strong long-lasting relationships with Technical & Engineering professionals. With previous experience as a Duty Manager and his many years of recruitment expertise, Carl specialises in both Temporary & Permanent recruitment within the Technical & Engineering industry.
Focusing in the Suffolk area, Carl is the consultant to go to for all Technical & Engineering employment enquiries across the Suffolk region.
Carl’s prop of choice reflects his sporting passion. Not being able to get out on a run as much as he’d like, Carl’s in the process of doing a camper van conversion with no previous DIY experience. Simon is passionate about F1, football and politics – his keen interest and views on current affairs often make for interesting conversation in the lunch room! One of our more modest team members, he professes to be a talented singer and plays the guitar….. although we are yet to hear him sing!

Louise’s history with Prime goes far back, as she was first placed by Robyn to work with Peter back in 1997! After leaving to return to her career in golf club management, Louise took over her family business back in 2005, the sale of which led to her welcome return to Prime in 2019, joining our Accounts team. Now as Accounts Coordinator/Credit Controller, Louise is a vital part of every day behind the scenes of Prime.
Her fun-filled prop symbolises all of Louise’s important pastimes. Firstly, encouraging her grandchildren to help in the garden. After the gardening, Louise spends time in the garden bar she built during lockdown, the Suttons Arms. Louise likes a little pink gin and tonic and the boys have lemonade! A just reward for a few hours gardening!

Prior to joining Prime Appointments in 2017 Michelle worked in a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant for over 10 years! She was looking for a new challenge when the position here opened up – her great communication and organisational skills – not to mention her warm and friendly smile make her a great asset to the business, not sure how we managed in the past without her!
In her spare time Michelle enjoys cooking and a day out shopping, in a household with grown up daughters there is lots of scope to practice both! She is an avid theatre goer and enjoys nothing more than a night out with hubby or her friends in theatre land!

Joining Prime in 1994, just 2 years after Prime Appointments was born, Donna joined as an Office Junior/Receptionist. Having spent her previous working background on a Youth Training Scheme, Donna’s combined experience of 28 years at Prime makes her our ultimate fountain of Knowledge.
As Project Coordinator Donna is your go to for all things compliance and operations. For any query regarding the in’s and out’s of Prime, Donna is your girl!

Megan loves all things design-related. Her previous experiences in both digital marketing and large-format print make her a Swiss army knife when it comes to all mediums of design. Megan makes a great addition to Prime's forward-thinking marketing department and adds her creative flair to any content destined for Prime's social media channels.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys
baking, dancing, and gardening. Her go to options when she grabs the mixing
bowl are lemon drizzle cake or Victoria Sponge. She also likes playing video
games and has recently begun painting with oils after thoroughly enjoying

Stormé is passionate about all things design, from digital design to illustrations, to makeup and photography. She is also a social media savant who is keen to help Prime become the most influential agency on social media in the local area! With her bubbly and outgoing personality she is the perfect fit for Prime’s positive and forward-thinking marketing department. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and partner and travelling. Just some of the countries she has visited include Jamaica, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Poland, and Morocco and she is eager to expand her list! If she could have any superpower, it would be to teleport, so that she could travel through time and travel more on the weekends.

We are thrilled to introduce Lauren, who joins us as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Lauren comes from a consultant position in construction recruitment. She got into recruitment so she could support candidates and experience the rewarding feeling of helping someone.
Away from the office, you can find Lauren either hanging out with friends or playing badminton. A fun fact about her is that she played basketball at the county level!

Katie is a Team Leader here at Prime looking after both Office, Finance & IT divisions. Joining us in 2019 Katie makes up half of the Holmes’ second generation, keeping our family-run business supported at the roots.

Laura’s prop symbolises her passion for Ballet. Starting at the age of 3, Laura now teaches children Ballet & Tap at a dance school. She also teaches adults with her high energy Zumba classes!

Louise’s history with Prime goes far back, as she was first placed by Robyn to work with Peter back in 1997! After leaving to return to her career in golf club management, Louise took over her family business back in 2005, the sale of which led to her welcome return to Prime in 2019, joining our Accounts team. Now as Accounts Coordinator/Credit Controller, Louise is a vital part of every day behind the scenes of Prime.
Her fun-filled prop symbolises all of Louise’s important pastimes. Firstly, encouraging her grandchildren to help in the garden. After the gardening, Louise spends time in the garden bar she built during lockdown, the Suttons Arms. Louise likes a little pink gin and tonic and the boys have lemonade! A just reward for a few hours gardening!

Prior to joining Prime Appointments in 2017 Michelle worked in a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant for over 10 years! She was looking for a new challenge when the position here opened up – her great communication and organisational skills – not to mention her warm and friendly smile make her a great asset to the business, not sure how we managed in the past without her!
In her spare time Michelle enjoys cooking and a day out shopping, in a household with grown up daughters there is lots of scope to practice both! She is an avid theatre goer and enjoys nothing more than a night out with hubby or her friends in theatre land!

Joining Prime in 1994, just 2 years after Prime Appointments was born, Donna joined as an Office Junior/Receptionist. Having spent her previous working background on a Youth Training Scheme, Donna’s combined experience of 28 years at Prime makes her our ultimate fountain of Knowledge.
As Project Coordinator Donna is your go to for all things compliance and operations. For any query regarding the in’s and out’s of Prime, Donna is your girl!
Donna’s prop of choice reflects her love for 80s & 90s music. She loves nothing more than scouting out 7” vinyl records from that era to add to her collection.

Karen joined the Prime team in 2021 joining our Accounts team as Payroll Administrator. We like to call her our payroll whizz in the office.

Karen’s prop summarises her favourite pass time… a glass of wine or 2 with her friends. She also enjoys Reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, meeting up with friends and enjoying time away in her caravan.

We are thrilled to introduce Georgie, who joins us as an Office & Accounts Administrator. Georgie brings a multitude of skills from her previous roles as an office administrator and will be a major asset to the Finance and Admin teams.
Away from the office, Georgie can be found planning her wedding and renovating her bungalow in the countryside. She also spends a lot of time following various types of racing, from F1 to British Touring Car, as her fiancé works in World Touring Car.

Megan Eves
Design Executive
Megan loves all things design-related. Her previous experiences in both digital marketing and large-format print make her a Swiss army knife when it comes to all mediums of design. Megan makes a great addition to Prime's forward-thinking marketing department and adds her creative flair to any content destined for Prime's social media channels.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys
baking, dancing, and gardening. Her go to options when she grabs the mixing
bowl are lemon drizzle cake or Victoria Sponge. She also likes playing video
games and has recently begun painting with oils after thoroughly enjoying
creating with pastels and pencils.

Design Executive
Stormé is passionate about all things design, from digital design to illustrations, to makeup and photography. She is also a social media savant who is keen to help Prime become the most influential agency on social media in the local area! With her bubbly and outgoing personality she is the perfect fit for Prime’s positive and forward-thinking marketing department. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and partner and travelling. Just some of the countries she has visited include Jamaica, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Poland, and Morocco and she is eager to expand her list! If she could have any superpower, it would be to teleport, so that she could travel through time and travel more on the weekends.
