Why We’re Running for Alzheimer’s Society

Our commitment to Alzheimer’s Society is deeply personal. Prime Appointments started fundraising after our co-founder, Margaret Locke, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at just 51. Seeing first-hand how the disease impacts individuals and families, we made it our mission to raise awareness and funds to support those affected.

Since 2018, we’ve been working towards our goal of raising £250,000—and we’re proud to have reached it in just six years. But we’re not stopping there. Every donation helps provide vital support services and fund life-changing research. You can learn more about our fundraising efforts here.

Support the Cause!

Thank you for your support

Every penny raised helps to fund vital research and essential services that support individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Alzheimer’s Society is dedicated to funding ground-breaking research into treatments and ultimately a cure for the disease, as well as providing a range of services for those living with dementia, their families, and carers. Your donation could help ensure that families get the support they need, whether it’s through counselling services or respite care. It could also contribute to the development of new treatments that could change lives. Together, we can make a difference!
