ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - KELVEDON - UP TO £33K - OFFICE BASED

A client of ours in the Kelvedon area is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent office-based position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £27,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in client queries via telephone and email
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Processing payments
  • Credit checking and processing new business applications
  • Chasing and managing overdue debt
  • Reconciling supplier invoices
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Invoicing customers
  • Downloading bank statements and allocating customer payments
  • Processing direct debits
  • Actioning Experian monitoring notifications
  • Any other adhoc duties required by management

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:

  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Sage 50 (desirable)
  • Microsoft Office package
  • You must be a driver with your own transport to be considered due to location not being commutable via public transport
  • Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant role
  • Accountancy qualification beneficial but not essential
