An engineering company in Colchester are looking for an assembly operative to join them as soon as possible!

They are looking for someone to join the early shift of 06:00-14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00-13:30 on Friday, there may be further opportunities to change shifts further down the line.

They are offering a starting salary of £12.53ph + shift allowance for the early shift. If you have worked within assembly before or have used power tools and are available immediately then please get in touch!

Assembly Operator Duties:

• Assembling metal parts using tools
• Operating machines as needed
• Sticking to health and safety policies
• Moving and lifting of metal
• Ensuring products meet company standards

Full product training will be provided, but the successful candidate will have some level of manufacturing or metal working experience in order to be considered, and be able to work from technical drawings.

The role is quite physically demanding as you will be working with big pieces of metal. You will also need to have your own transport or live locally due to the hours of the role.
