Prime Appointments are currently working with a growing engineering company who are looking for a CNC Machinist to come and join their team based on the outskirts of Harlow!

This manufacturer is a leader in precision manufacturing, working with a range of industries creating high quality components. s. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a strong grasp of CNC machining processes, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

As a CNC Machinist you will be required to:

• Set up and operate Fixed Head CNC machines to manufacture precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor machine output, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet all quality specifications.

We are looking for a machinist with:

• Proven experience as a Fixed Head CNC Machine Setter and Operator.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes.
• Capability to perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
