My client, a well-established, small but very busy subcontract engineering company based in the Braintree area, are now looking for a CNC Miller to Program, Set and Operate Hurco Mills. The company do a variety work for different industry sectors including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Commercial and Oil & Gas industries. The ideal candidate will be time served and would preferably have some turning knowledge.

Duties:

• Programming, Setting and operation of Hurco milling machines.
• Program on and offline using OneCNC software.
• Set up and run machines.
• Ability to work to very fine tolerances.
• Attention to detail.
• Work closely with the turning section to ensure efficiency.
• The ideal candidate would be willing to help out on lathes when work load is high.

Experience:

• Extensive experience Programming, Setting and Operating experience is essential (Hurco Preferable)
• Offline programming experience preferred (OneCNC Software preferable)
• Ideally apprentice trained however experience is more important.
• Must be capable and prepared to lean Hurco and OneCNC

Benefits:

• Salary (Dependant on experience).
• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays.
• Paid overtime available.

• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
