A leading manufacturing company in Ipswich is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the design, development, and testing of special-purpose machinery, using SolidWorks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design machinery from concept to completion using SolidWorks
• Create and manage Bill of Materials
• Design parts, components, and sheet metal
• Collaborate with other departments to improve existing machinery
• Assist with testing and fitting of prototypes

Key Requirements:

• SolidWorks proficiency
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
