Electronics Technician - St. Neots - salary up to £31,5000
Working for a world leader within the aerospace manufacturing industry the Electronics Technician will assemble and test products including electrical sub-assemblies. Duties:
- Carry out assembly and product testing completing the relevant test documentation
- Perform fault diagnostics on both final assemblies and lower levels, while working with engineers from the test and engineering departments.
- Conduct root cause investigations, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Analyze test data and generate test reports.
- Ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and within calibration schedules.
- Read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements including sub-assemblies
- Perform soldering to IPC standards.
- Promote and support continuous improvements and assist with A3, 8D and other process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A HNC or above in a relevant subject is required
- Must have experience of working with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test equipment).
- Experience of working within the Electronics Manufacturing industry is necessary
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, varied, and demanding environment
- Proficient in microsoft office applications
- Good communication and teamworking skills are required
