A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area are recruiting an Estimator and Sales Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- First response with telephone and live web chat enquiries.
- Taking responsibility for quotes assigned, complete pricing and design to the client's satisfaction.
- Offering great customer service to help convert enquiries into sales.
- Following up enquiries
- Reduce project costs to help gain sales (where necessary)
- Actively seeking out new clients and opportunities.
- Assist Project Managers with pricing.
- Attend internal department meetings.
- Keep drawing files and a custom project tracker programme up to date.
- Assist with general admin tasks.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Estimator and Sales Administrator position:
- Previous sales/admin office experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good eye for detail.
- CAD Experience desirable but not essential
- Can do, positive attitude
- Joinery, building and construction industry experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience of Microsoft office applications essential
