A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting an Import Clerk to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying between 26,000 - £28,500 per annum depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Import Clerk role will include but are not limited to:

  • Entering jobs and manifests onto the system
  • Supplying the warehouse and all other depots with information required
  • Liaising with agents and customers to understand their needs.
  • Daily collating of necessary and required information from Hauliers of arrival/departure times.
  • Daily calculation of prices and costs for certain manifests.
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Assisting the department manager in the smooth running of the department.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience within road freight essential.
  • Highly organised.
  • Must have 5+ years recent employment history with no gaps.
