Do you have experience working in injection moulding? We are looking for an injection mould setter to start immediately for a company in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Excellent rate on offer with an immediate start. Standard hours, working 07:00-16:00, Monday-Friday.

Due to the nature of the workload, we are only able to accept candidates with experience on injection mould machines. If you have only worked as an operator, then we still want to hear from you.

Duties include: -

• Set up injection moulding machines according to requirements, including installing moulds, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment.
• following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor machine operation during production runs, adjusting temperature, pressure, and other parameters to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, moulds, or materials to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks on injection moulding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality defects, such as air bubbles, warping, or incomplete fills, and adjust machine settings or processes as necessary.
• Record data accurately, including cycle times, material usage, downtime, and any quality issues encountered.
