An expanding family owned and run Security Solutions company are looking to recruit an Installation Engineer to work in the London area. The company supply blue chip companies with CCTV, Intercom Systems, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.

The role:

• Carry out commissioning of small works and major projects.
• Install containment as detailed on containment drawings.
• Carry out first fix of cabling, panels and field devices.
• Carry out second fix termination, labelling and dressing of all cabling
• Supervise subcontractors and be the first point of contact on site for the clients.
• Provide mentoring and technical support for junior engineers, identify any skills gaps and need for additional training.
• Carry out pre-commissioning and validation of all equipment before it is shipped to site for installation.
• Carry out on-site commissioning and compile all commissioning documentation and issue of O&M manuals.

What's required:

• An ECS card is essential
• Willingness to take part in the on-call rota
• Previous experience working in the security systems industry
• C-Cure software skills are essential
• Gallagher and Genetec software skills are desirable
• Lenel software experience would be a benefit
• Must have good communications skills, be a good problem solver with excellent management skills
• Approachable and flexible with a hands-on approach to work
• Must have a full clean driving licence
