We have multiple Machine Operative roles available in Mildenhall working for one of the largest manufacturers in West Suffolk!

You'll have the chance to work with either Assembly Machines or Multispindle Lathes, with a variety of shift patterns to suit your needs. These roles offer a competitive salary, plus some of the best shift allowances in the region. After a successful 3-month probationary period, a permanent contract will be provided.

Machine Operative Duties Include:

• Operating machinery in both assembly and lathe areas of the workshop
• Performing full start-up and shutdown procedures for machines as needed
• Conducting minor maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation
• Monitoring production quality and addressing any issues promptly
• Assisting with tooling changes and machine adjustments
• Ensuring a clean and organized working environment
• Supporting team efforts to meet production targets and deadlines

Experience operating manual lathes, press machines or mechanical machinery from other industries such as food production would be highly beneficial. The shifts required for this role are working 06:00 - 18:00, 3 or 4 days a week, with one of those days being a weekend.
