Machine Operator - Maldon, Essex - Full-Time - Mon-Fri, 7-3/8-4 - Temp-Perm

Prime Appointments is delighted to partner with a globally recognized food manufacturer based in Tiptree, Essex.
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company, with the potential to secure a permanent role after a successful probation period.

You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of various departments within the production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth production flow: Assist in the seamless operation of the production line to meet daily production targets and quality standards
  • Final Product Packing: Accurately package finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labelling and quality control
  • Support Manufacturing Processes: Play an active role in the manufacturing process, helping with different stages of production to maintain efficiency
  • Pre-Production Cutting: Prepare products by cutting ingredients or raw materials in preparation for the production line, ensuring all products meet set specifications
  • Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load raw materials and unload finished goods on the production line, ensuring proper stock management and minimizing downtime
  • Quality Control: Carry out quality checks on product packaging, ensuring products meet the company's high standards and are ready for shipment
  • Collaboration: Work closely with skilled production staff and machine operatives to ensure the continuous smooth running of production processes
  • General Production Duties: Undertake various manufacturing and production tasks as directed to help maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the production environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on work
  • Experience within the food manufacturing sector is highly desirable but not essential
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a flexible approach to working days are key for success in this role
  • A keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to quality control and product specifications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, as well as work independently when required

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday-Friday with shift options:
    • 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
    • 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • £12.21ph
  • Weekly Pay
  • Temp-Perm opportunities
  • Full-Time
