Our client who are a manufacturer based in Wickford are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy team.

We are looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to carry out regular maintenance of plant and equipment.

The role is paying up to £15ph, working 8am-16:20 Monday to Friday.

For this role you must have mechanical maintenance experience in a factory environment. If you are able to MIG / TIG Weld, then that is an advantage but not essential.

Maintenance Engineer duties:-

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Responsible for the daily signing off of all power presses including but not limited to checking guarding is present and securely fitted
• To carry out regular maintenance of plant and equipment, including lubricating, adjusting and / or replacing consumable spare parts as necessary.
• Ensuring all objectives are carried out within an agreed time frame.
• Investigating any plant and tooling problems.
• Carrying out repairs / modifications to plant and equipment
• General repair and maintenance to the fabric of the building, including but not limited to painting, decorating and general building repairs. Utilities repair and maintenance including but not limited to plumbing and pneumatics.
