Job Opportunity: Picking Line Operative - Recycling Facility near Colchester, Essex

Prime Appointments is currently recruiting for a Picking Line Operative to join a well-established recycling facility located just outside of Colchester, Essex. This role plays a key part in supporting a large-scale environmental initiative committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

Please note: Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport, as there are no public transport links available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating on the picking line to efficiently sort recyclable materials
• Supporting quality control processes to ensure proper product separation
• Performing light manual handling tasks
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy at the end of each shift

About You:

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment is desirable
• Comfortable with manual handling duties
• Reliable and flexible to work on an ad-hoc basis
• Access to your own transport is essential

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 - 17:00
• £12.21 per hour
