A manufacturing client of ours in the Maldon area are recruiting a Procurement Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (37.5-hour week) and paying £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process and monitor purchase orders.
- Progress purchase orders and invoice on completion in conjunction with the finance department.
- Liaise with suppliers on their stock levels, lead times and pricing.
- Answering and transferring phone calls.
- Assist with daily pick lists and packing, ensuring all shipments are packaged for safe transit.
- Assist with stocktaking and maintain inventory of all finished goods in stock.
- Ensure all finished goods parts are kept in good condition and organised.
- Maintain non finished goods stock inventory and liaise with the team to replenish stock.
- Liaise with the Sales team to provide shipping information.
- Prepare parts for internal work instructions and pass to the relevant department.
- Ensure shipments have the correct despatch paperwork.
- Ensure customer specific labelling requirements are carried out.
- Liaise with couriers to expedite delivery/shipping.
- Ensure requirements of the quality management system are adhered to.
- Raise Shop orders.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Procurement Administrator position:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in using an MRP system desirable.
- Previous experience within a similar Purchasing and Procurement assistant role essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience withing the Electronics Manufacturing industry desirable.
