The Production Engineer - Electronics will join a global leader to support their manufacturing operations. You'll be working on high-profile projects with real-world impact!

Duties:
- Perform component-level fault-finding to diagnose production and performance issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply teams to resolve technical issues.
- Investigate, document, and report faults on products while driving improvements to eliminate reoccurring issues.
- Assist with the creation of balanced production lines, with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
- Write and update clear, concise work instructions (SOPs) for operations.
- Create and update configuration control documents and manufacturing standard times.
- Write, review, and complete process FMEA, control plans, and risk assessments
- Analyse designs to ensure they meet DFM/DFA criteria and manage the NPI process
- Drive change management processes and product improvements.
- Support sales with customer and project bid data preparation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills Required:
- An Electronics or manufacturing/engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in electronics test and manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing philosophies (DFM/DFA).
- Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, manufacturing, and test processes.
- Ability to produce clear reports and deliver effective presentations.
- Strong analytical skills and fault-finding expertise, particularly in electronics down to component level.
- Knowledge of RF test techniques, high voltage electronics, and encapsulation would be beneficial
- Experience in problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis).
- Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and understanding of SPC data would be preferable.
- Practical experience in applying CI, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality tools ideal.
