Production Operative
Location: Witham, Essex
Shift Pattern: 5-shift rotating system (24/7 operation)

We are proud to be working in partnership with a leading organisation in the sustainable waste management sector. They are currently seeking Production Shift Operators for a state-of-the-art facility near Witham, Essex.

As a key member of the operational team, the Production Shift Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a Safety First culture across all site operations

• Coordinate with external systems and define clear operational responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance and performance standards

• Monitor production equipment and report any operational issues

• Adhere to standard operating procedures and meet production targets

• Manage consumables, additives, and waste levels to support efficient operations

• Oversee the safe and compliant disposal of residues

• Assist in the execution of scheduled maintenance and compliance tasks

• Operate the Digital Control System (DCS) as required

Experience and Qualifications:

• GCSEs A-C (or equivalent) in Science, Maths, English, or relevant subjects, or equivalent industry experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant sector (Power, FMCG, Continuous Process Production)

• Familiarity with computer-based control systems

• Understanding of integrated safe systems of work (desirable)

• Interest in mechanical or electrical systems (advantageous)

• Strong safety and environmental awareness

• Access to personal transport is essential due to limited public transport options
