A Manufacturing company in Tiptree are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join them ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. Working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, paying £12.50 per hour depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
- Monitor stock levels: Re-order when required & flag discrepancies.
- Coordinating with departments with regards to stock materials ETA's.
- Monitoring outstanding orders and ensure records match key supplier records.
- Track and report material liabilities and follow- up actions to ensure aged stock is not built-up.
- Ensure that all damaged and quarantined stock are credited or replaced by suppliers.
- Prioritising a fluid workload to ensuring relevant orders are received in full and on time.
- Support the returns function ensuring all returns are processed and stock control maintained.
- Maint and developing supplier relationships via phone, email and some supplier visits.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Purchasing Administration role:
- Previous experience in a purchasing administrator role or similar.
- Intermediate user of MS Outlook in particular Excel.
- Good communications and negotiation skills.
- Ability and desire to progress and train in a procurement role.
- Maths and English GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent).
