Prime appointments are currently working with a fast growing precision engineering company who are looking for a Quality Engineer to come and join their night shift team based in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will have worked within the aerospace, defence and marine industries!

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and driving process improvements! We are looking for engineers who thrive in a precision driven environment!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality standards for products and processes as well as oversee inspections and testing across all stages.
• Maintain detailed records of quality metrics, inspection results, and test data; ensure all processes comply with industry standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments; address customer concerns, manage quality-related communications.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and minimise waste.
