As a Quality Inspector you will be required to:
- Carry out inspection, qualification, FAIR, test, and release activities on products before booking them into Finished Goods
- Inspect manufactured parts according to QMS, ensuring adherence to manufacturing routing and quality plans
- Ensure product traceability, batch control, and correct handling of materials
- Apply the Release Stamp following QMS Stamp Control Procedures
- Monitor and report on subcontract performance, scrap, and rework
- Conduct testing and inspections (e.g., Gauge R&R, hardness/conductivity/bridge testing)
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve product or quality issues
Experience required:
- Strong experience in quality engineering, particularly in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, CMM, tensile testing machines)
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 standards
- Experience with inspection, testing, and product release processes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
