Location: Outskirts of Colchester, Essex

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00
Contract Type: Temporary with potential for long-term work

We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative on behalf of a well-established recycling facility located near outside Colchester. This is a hands-on role that contributes directly to reducing landfill waste and promoting sustainable practices.

Please note: Own transport is essential due to the site's location and lack of public transport.

Key Duties of the Recycling Operative:

• Manually sorting recyclable materials on a fast-paced line

• Assisting in quality control to ensure correct separation of waste streams

• Light manual handling

• Supporting the wider team to achieve daily throughput targets

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements for the Recycling Operative:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing and production, warehouse, or recycling environment preferred

• Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly

• Must have access to own transport
