A well-established company in Braintree who supply, fit, and maintain machinery for the leisure industry are looking to recruit a Repair Engineer. This is a varied role, working by yourself at client sites repairing gym equipment. To qualify for this role you will need to have a good mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and a clean full driving licence.

Duties:

• After a period of training and shadowing an existing Engineer, you will be responsible for your own van ensuring it is kept clean and tidy
• Travelling to client sites based in London and East Anglia
• Fault finding and performing mechanical repairs on gym equipment
• Cleaning, lubricating, and replacing any worn parts and cables
• Fill in repair paperwork and complete excel spreadsheets
• Check function and movement of machines
• Early starts are a feature of the role, and you will be paid from when you leave your house

Skills & Experience:

• Must have a good mechanical aptitude
• Good attention to detail
• Calm under pressure and methodical
• Self-sufficient, must be able to work on own
• You will be expected to drive in and around London on a regular basis, therefore it is essential that you have a full driving licence and must be confident driving a van.
• Must reside within a commutable radius of Braintree
