Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ipswich

Salary: up to £70,000

Prime Appointments are currently working with a Tier 1 fit-out company who are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their talented team based in Ipswich! You will get the opportunity to work on bespoke commercial projects in the London, Suffolk and Essex region.

They are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, confidence and highly motivated as this is heavily a client facing role.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be required to:

• Assist with project preparation and tendering as needed, including reviewing and allocating preliminary resources
• Attend regular site visits and project review meetings
• Work closely with your contact with the Main Contractor to ensure a good working relationship
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of Revenue and Cash forecasting in accordance with the Finance Director's requirements
• Regularly review order documentation
• Take full responsibility for cost control, valuations, budgeting, and reporting to ensure project profitability.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier accounts

Experience Required:

• Previous Surveying experience
• Good confidence and outgoing personality
• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Previous experience in a joinery background (Desirable)
