Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Service Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Ipswich. This company specialises in slitting and rewinding machinery internationally. You will get the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and exciting international travel opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production machine service/installation environment.

As a Service Engineer you will be required too:

• Perform installation, servicing, and repairs of advanced production machinery worldwide
• Provide technical support and solutions to ensure optimal machine performance
• Collaborate with international clients to uphold reputation for excellence
• Provide technical assistance and training to clients, ensuring smooth operations
• Travel globally to meet service and installation needs, upholding company standards and building client relationships

Skills and Experience:

• A strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines
• Demonstrated success in a production machine service/installation environment
• Knowledge of machine controls, including PLCs
• Experience with A.C. drive controls
• Familiarity with the Converting Industry is highly desirable
• Skilled in mechanical engineering tasks such as servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs
