Duties:

• Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and written instructions.
• Work and rework assemblies including soldering & unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives.
• Check and inspect own and others work, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Participate with the creation of SOPs etc.
• Raise defect reports and utilise the company business data management system.
• Create and work in a team environment while implementing continuous improvements and ensuring the highest quality.

Skills and Experience required:

• Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Must have an analytical approach to problem solving.
• Previous experience of rework and assembly to a high standard.
• Must be proactive with strong team skills and excellent attention to detail.
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience of working in a cellular manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Radar knowledge would be ideal however not essential.
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling/lifting on a regular basis
• strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Due to the nature of the business you will be required to be a British Citizen with 10 years traceable history.
