Trainee Logistics Administrator

£24,000 p/a

A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Trainee Logistics Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours) and paying up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sort, scan and attach details to the system.
  • Source PODs (Proof of Deliveries) from suppliers websites.
  • Request PODs.
  • Picking and Packing
  • Quality Checking
  • Stock counting
  • Putting customer orders onto the system.
  • Processing customer returns.
  • Arranging freight couriers for customer collections and delivery.
  • Ensure that filing is in order & filed correctly
  • Label filing accordingly & maintain relevant spreadsheet to ensure staff are able to locate documents when required.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Trainee Logistics Administrator position:

  • You must have 5+ years continuous educational/employment history with no gaps to be considered for this role
  • 1 years' admin and secretarial experience.
  • Proficient Microsoft skills
  • Excellent communication skills
