We are looking for a Trainee Quality Inspector to join a long-standing engineering company based in the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk.

This is a permanent opposition paying a starting salary up from £25,000 per annum

This position will offer full training as well as excellent long term career opportunities.

Quality Inspector duties include: -

• Testing & Inspection of products using specialist equipment and tools to ensure that the products are safe for use.
• Work closely with engineers to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results including measurements.
• Evaluate the quality of incoming materials and components from suppliers.

Candidate Requirements: -

• Will come from a Technical & Engineering background.
• An NVQ/Diploma or equivalent in relevant field
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work well individually and within a team.
• Must be able to read from technical drawings
• Good user of inspection tools and equipment

Though this is a trainee role, we are only accepting candidates with the relevant qualifications.
