A long standing manufacturing company in Clacton on Sea are looking for a Trainee Test Technician to join them on a permanent basis! You will be working alongside the senior team to understand and run the testing of their hardware products.

You will need to have mechanical engineering experience or understanding from either education or work, and have an interest in learning the testing procedures.

Working hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday and a 15:30 finish on Friday! Starting salary will be circa £25,000.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting in the test procedures in line with legislation
• Gaining technical knowledge of product to assist the technical team
• Manual handling of associated products that aid testing
• Carrying out calibration of equipment
• Logging data and writing up procedures
• Representing the business at seminars/briefings when needed
