Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver - Maldon, Essex
£14.00 - £14.80 per hour (depending on experience)
Temporary - Permanent

Shift pattern:
Rotating shifts:

• 6am - 2pm

• 8am - 4pm

• 2pm - 10pm (Currently operating 8.30am - 4.30pm)

Our client based in Maldon, Essex is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their small, friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This role is an essential part of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of stock in and out of production. While forklift driving is a key part of the job, you'll also get involved in a variety of warehouse duties including order picking, packing, pallet wrapping, and supplying product to the production line.

Key Duties of the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver:

• Regular operation of a Counterbalance Forklift

• High racking and movement of product using forklift

• Order picking and packing

• Supplying the packing line with product

• Stock rotation in line with company guidelines

• Loading and unloading vehicles (by hand and forklift)

• Dispatching products correctly and promptly

• Completing associated paperwork accurately

• Maintaining personal and team health and safety standards

• Ensuring hygiene and quality standards are met

About You:

• Experience working within FMCG, logistics distribution and supply chain environments

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence

• A full, valid driving licence (essential for driving on public highways)

• Positive attitude with a flexible, team-focused approach

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role

Pay & Hours:

• £14.00 - £14.80 per hour, depending on experience

• Rotating shifts as above
