We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Braintree, Essex. This is working for an international manufacturer and distributor of mechanical products going to businesses world wide. Working in the heart of the European distribution centre. This role is vital to the supply and service to clients across Europe.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver who has previous experience within a warehouse and looking for permanent work. Counterbalance forklift licence is highly desirable.

This is a great opportunity to join a company on a permanent basis after a 6 month probation period.

Duties of the Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver will include;

• Loading & Unloading Goods Vehicles by Forklift
• Goods-In and inspection
• Moving pallets of goods around the warehouse by Pallet Truck
• Transport bookings
• Picking customer orders
• Packing Customer orders for dispatch
• Basic Warehouse Administration
• Perform regular stock checks

The ideal Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver applicant;

• Good Communication skills and confident using telephone
• Computer Literate with experience using Word and Excel
• Forklift Licence for counterbalance Forklift ( Highly desirable)
• Previous experience within logistics distribution and supply chain
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable & Trustworthy
• Good Organisational skills
• An interest in Mechanical Engineering

Pay, Hours & Benefits;

• Monday - Friday 8.15-16.45
