We are looking for a Warehouse Operative who is looking for a new challenge for their Chelmsford, Essex based hub.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company on a Permanent Basis, with on-going progression and training opportunities.

The Duties of the Warehouse Operative;

• Picking and packing of orders
• Working with other teams to help sort customer returns and other challenges
• Making sure all working areas are always safe and tidy
• Stock control - making sure this is kept to the optimum level
• Unloading and Loading of containers and lorries
• Quality checking of all products
• Use of in-house computer system

The Ideal Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience within a warehouse and use of a logistical computer system
• Able to complete manual handling tasks - some of the role could include some heavy lifting
• Happy to help and take on certain responsibilities in all areas of the warehouse when cover is needed due to holiday/sickness
• Progression is available and they are looking for candidates who are happy and wanting to climb the ladder
• Good knowledge of Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Processes
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• A forklift ticket is not essential but would be an advantage - training would be given for the right candidate if needed
• Lives local to Chelmsford area

Hours and Pay:

• Monday - Friday
• Hours vary between - 08:00 - 18:00 (37.5 hour week) - Flexible working hours
• Starting salary - £25,000
