We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work in Basildon, Essex.
This is for a Logistics distribution and supply chain company looking to expand their team. Having recently consolidated to one site this is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in all warehousing and logistics duties.
This role would suit someone with supervisory experience and is looking for a new challenge offering progression.

This is a direct permanent role for the right candidate.

*All applicants must have an in-date counterbalance licence and at least 4 years warehouse experience.

Only applicants with full UK driving licence and own vehicle will be considered.*

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Loading / unloading containers using forklift and by hand
• Order picking and packing
• Use of inhouse computer systems
• Supervising of warehouse team ensuring correct procedures are followed
• Reporting any non compliances to warehouse manager
• Completion and checking of all freight related paperwork
• General warehousing tasks including safety checks on forklifts ensuring good housekeeping at all time around warehouse and stores facilities

The ideal Warehouse Supervisor candidate:

• Minium of 4 years' experience in a warehouse environment of which a minimum of 2 years at Supervisory level
• Steady work history
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
• Previous groupage experience
• Valid and in-date counterbalance licence to a minimum of 3000kg
• Flexi forklift would be an advantage
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks which may include heavy lifting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  

Hours & Pay:

• £32,500pa
• Monday - Friday
• Rotating Shifts
• WEEK 1 - 07:00-15:30 & WEEK 2 - 11:30-20:00
• 5 hours per week
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• You maybe required to work on a Saturday on a rota basis
