The question... "What skills should I add to my CV" has probably been thought of by millions, billions each week, especially now, now is the time for you to really think about that question... What skills do you show on your CV?
1 - Time Management & Accountability
With working remotely becoming the new normal we believe that employers will want to know that you can prioritise your time more than ever. To work efficiently and effectively, to hit targets without having your manager beside you pushing projects through. You will need to be able to demonstrate self-discipline and accountability.
2 - Ability to Adapt & Learn
Circumstances and environments as well as your role can change at any moment within these turbulent times. We believe that employers will be looking for people who have the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
3 - Emotional Intelligence
While this is often a trait expected in leaders, this is now a skill we believe will be a benefit to all professionals, with the changes in everyones lives and the people we often interact with evolving and changing all the time, it's important to be conscious, respectful and aware.
4 - Tech Savvy
If you're bit behind the times when it comes to all things tech we strongly advise that you start to up-skill this area of your expertise. The pandemic highlighted how important technology is. IT teams were used to set up a plethora of different working practices. If you have found that new technology is difficult, take time and build these skills! Things will only get more tech based!
