Prime raises £11,000 for Alzheimer's Society with four runners in the London Marathon

On the 21st of April, four employees and friends from Prime Appointments took to the streets of London to participate in the 2024 London Marathon.

The team had undergone months of training and was prepared to face moments of absolute joy and sheer despair, where willpower was the only thing driving them forward.

Find out more about their London Marathon experience by reading the blog article written by the lads, which outlines exactly how they felt.

The London Marathon marks Prime Appointments' second running event this year, following the participation of six runners in the Colchester Half Marathon back in March, which raised £1,220. Some of these runners have already expressed interest in participating in next year’s London Marathon, suggesting that Prime Appointments could have another group of runners for next year's event.

Prime Appointments gets results from Sunday Times best places to work survey

A few months ago, we entered the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 competition. The process involves employees completing an anonymous survey where they rate the company in several areas including reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, instilling pride, and job satisfaction.

Prime Appointments has received its results and scored very highly in all areas. This shows that the overall consensus among the employees is very positive and the flight risk is very low.

The final results will be released on the 10th of May and printed on the 12th of May 2024.

Prime Appointments attend Family Business Dinner in Ipswich

On the 23rd of April, Jack O'Brien, Katie Holmes, and Robyn Holmes attended the Family Business United dinner hosted by Birkett LLP last week.

The evening was a beautiful tribute to the significant contributions that family businesses make in our region, offering an opportunity for family-run enterprises to connect with others and share experiences.

The team also had an interview with Paul Andrews from Family Business United to discuss the founding of Prime Appointments and their plans for the future. Read the full blog article on Birkett’s website.

Quarterly party

Last week was the Prime Appointments Spring Game Day, and there was plenty of friendly competition in the office. All employees had loads of fun playing games, enjoying tasty food, and chatting with colleagues.

The overall winner was Team Layla. Congratulations, guys!

It is nearly time for the 2024 Prime Appointments Golf Day

On Friday, June 7th, the teams will take to the course for the annual event, which last year saw Prime Appointments raise a whopping £78,155 for the Alzheimer's Society. The event is always held at Colchester Golf Course and organized by Director Peter Holmes.

We look forward to finding out what this year holds and what the outcome of the event will be.
