As a local independent family-owned and family-run business, we are delighted to have been shortlisted, having worked within the local marketplace for over 30 years and counting! Our second-generation family members are now at the helm; with Jack O’Brien taking centre stage, leading the business forward after extensive experience within the recruitment industry and knowledge of our business. Having worked his way up for over 12 years, in 2020, Jack was appointed as Director, working closely with MD Robyn Holmes to push the brand forward.

Growth continues; New offices acquired!
After 30 years in business, it was time to push forward and aim for growth!
This January, we opened our second office premises based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This provides us with the perfect opportunity to enhance our standing in the local marketplace and provide localised services to clients and candidates within Suffolk.
“We have been working with local clients and candidates across Suffolk for 30 years, Bury St Edmunds, therefore, was the obvious choice when the decision was made to expand our ever-growing family business”, comments Managing Director Robyn Holmes.
Our new office premises are headed up by Recruitment Manager, Carl Bashford who has worked with us for over 7 years. Driving the growth of our Technical and engineering desk in Witham, it was time for Carl to put his enthusiasm for the industry, expertise and knowledge of both; recruitment and the local area into practice.
After 3 months we are delighted with the progress our Bury team have established and we are excited to see where this new venture takes us.

Colchester Half Marathon:
This May, 7 of our incredible team have signed up for the Colchester Half Marathon.
An easy venture for some, but our team are struggling to hit 5K, let alone 13.1K! With the Marathon just over a month away, the team are getting anxious… to say the least.
After all, we’re running for a cause! Help our team feel confident and empowered to finish fast and smash the marathon whilst getting them 1 step closer to their combined £4K charity target.
Every donation received goes directly to our JustGiving page in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

Charity Golf Day:
We invite our business partners and clients to enjoy a day of golf, a delicious meal and a charity auction, with the event being funded by us and hosted by our partners at Colchester Golf Club. The event takes place on the 7th of June with a shotgun start.
Last year’s Golf Day raised; an incredible £26,000 in 12 hours!
Fun fact: We have historically received an incredible selection of donations to our raffle, with celebrities such as; ‘Olly Murs’ making sizable donations.
