Prime Appointments’ fifth annual Golf Day at Colchester Golf Club was a huge success, raising £11,835 and pushing our total fundraising to £280,637—nearly triple our original 10-year goal of £100,000 set in 2018. Twenty teams from Essex and Suffolk enjoyed perfect weather, great food, and a new putting competition led by former footballer Matt Holland. The day ended with a dinner, raffle, and auction, helping raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Managing Director Robyn Holmes thanked everyone for their support and highlighted the importance of ongoing Alzheimer’s research.
The Prime team rolled up their sleeves and baked their hearts out to support the Alzheimer’s Society—serving up 72 cupcakes, 36 cookies, 24 millionaire’s shortbreads, and 3 sandwich cakes. With generous support from clients including Stourgarden, Shielding Solutions, CareCo UK Ltd, Carr's Flour Mills, Crittall Windows, and Markham & Smith, the event raised £1,215. As part of our commitment to Alzheimer’s, we doubled the total to £2,430. A huge thank you to our brilliant bakers and everyone who donated—your support means everything.
For the third year running, the Prime Appointments team smashed the Colchester Half Marathon—this time with every runner achieving a personal best. The determination and energy shown on the day were incredible. In the lead-up, we hosted an Alzheimer’s cake bake, which helped raise extra funds and morale. A big thank you to everyone who donated and supported the team. Every step was powered by your encouragement and generosity towards the Alzheimer’s Society.

The support from players, donors, and helpers was amazing and brought our total fundraising to £237,860. It was a brilliant day with great company, all for a cause close to our hearts—thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a special event.
Our annual Memory Walk through Witham raised £2,864 for the Alzheimer’s Society. It was a meaningful 4.7-mile journey filled with shared memories, good company, and a well-earned tea and cake stop at Prime HQ, thanks to Tiptree Patisserie. A big thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported the event, and to Oliver’s Nurseries and Benton Hall for hosting parts of the walk. Together, we’ve now raised over £200,000 in five years—thank you for walking with us.
Huge congratulations to Jack, Craig, Jack, and Charlie for completing the 2024 London Marathon! After months of tough training, they tackled the 26.2 miles with determination and raised awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society along the way. It was an emotional and inspiring day, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort. There’s still time to support their fundraising—every donation helps in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Thank you to everyone who’s backed the team so far!
