Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Colchester, Essex
Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
Contract: Temporary

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and production company in Colchester. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This is a key role within a large and busy warehouse operation. The position will also involve off the forklift responsibilities, so a flexible and proactive approach is essential.

Duties of the Forklift Driver:

• Working in a fast-paced goods-in environment
• Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
• Completing paperwork accurately
• Stock control and stock counting

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a warehouse and logistics distribution and supply chain environment
• A valid Reach Forklift licence (Counterbalance licence advantageous)
• A strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as basic computer proficiency
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks

Hours and Pay:

• £13.12 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
• A temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
