Graduate Sales Associate

A client of ours in the Stowmarket area are recruiting a Graduate Sales Associate to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm. Paying £27,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to develop a career within technical sales, business development and account management.

Please note that you must be able to drive due to travel being a requirement of this role.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Support the generation and development of new business opportunities while learning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to customer handover.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and support account growth activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity through the CRM system.
• Assist with sales and marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Promote cutting and welding solutions through customer visits, industry events, and exhibitions.
• Develop technical product knowledge to provide customers with appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure excellent service and support.
• Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify potential opportunities.
• Support the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Graduate Sales Associate position:

• Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related subject.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages and willing to learn CRM systems.
• Self-motivated,
• Full UK driving licence.
