Location: Earls Colne, Essex - Own transport essential
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
Contract: Temporary

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established and reputable company based near Earls Colne. Working within a busy production environment, this is a hands-on role that involves physical work, operating machinery, and working as part of a team to meet production targets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is looking for long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Due to the rural location applicants need their own reliable transport to be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operative:

• Prepare and set moulds for production processes.
• Using machinery and tools safely to complete all production tasks.
• Carry out finishing work to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
• Handle materials and finished products, including heavy manual handling.
• Support in the monitoring of stock level and communicate with management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing and production environment is essential.
• Own reliable transport is required due to the rural location.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
