A client of ours in Colchester are recruiting a Design Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm and paying £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience. Designing, developing, and manufacturing new and existing products in a unique market this company rely on the creativity and innovation of its colleagues.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Producing complex drawings with weld detail
• Product/project management
• Consulting with both customers and suppliers
• Cost and approval management
• Creating assembly instructions for production - SSOW and RA

To be a match for this Design Engineer position:

• Clear working experience and competency with SolidWorks (sheet metal)
• Mathematical and mechanical engineering design techniques
