A client of ours in the Harlow area are recruiting a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm & Fridays 8.00am - 2.00pm, paying between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Finance Manager role will include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily postings of Accounts Payable Ledger, Accounts Receivable Ledger, Cashbooks and Nominal Ledger.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any queries.
- Analysing and reporting on the overhead nominal ledger codes and comparing to budget / prior year.
- Supporting weekly and monthly reporting packs and analysis.
- Checking POs raised by departments & provide efficient information for costs reviewing actual against budgets.
- Monthly VAT return review and support.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Budget and forecast preparation.
- Conducting appraisals.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Experience within a similar role essential.
- Accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Experience in managing a team (4/5 people)
