A large manufacturing company in the Colchester area, are looking for a Graduate Test Engineer to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be testing products right from the production line, ensuring they operate as expected. An eye for detail and a passion for electronics and engineering is a must to succeed in this role, along with being forward thinking, self-motivated and willing to learn. Duties:

• Testing of new and existing products
• Fault finding down to component level
• Maintain test records and results in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal procedures
• Produce detailed reports of new products
• Develop test processes and procedures for production testing.
• Create C++ software applications for engineering and production test
• Soldering cables or connectors used for testing, replacing missing or faulty components

To be considered for this exciting Graduate Test Engineer role, you will need the following experience:

• Qualification in engineering, ideally with a high electronic content
• Use of test equipment, DMMs, Network analysers, ATE, oscilloscopes
• Able to fault find to component level
• Testing and recording data on a range of products and assemblies
• Able to create software to test applications
